Uses
For the prevention and treatment of flea infestations on cats and dogs, and for the treatment of biting lice (Trichodectes canis) on dogs.
Fleas are killed within one day following treatment. One treatment prevents further flea infestation on dogs for up to four weeks, three to four weeks on cats and up to one week on pet rabbits. The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis in the cat and the dog. The treatment should be repeated after 4 weeks.
In case of biting lice infestation on dogs, a further veterinary examination 30 days after treatment is recommended as some animals may require a second treatment. (Source: NOAH)

For what is this product used: Advantage is a once a month
topical flea treatment for cats and kittens over 8 weeks or older and dogs and puppies 7 weeks or older. This product kills 98-100% of the fleas on cats and dogs within 12 hours.
Availability: Advantage is a non-prescription (OTC) product.
How this product should be used: This product is for external
use on dogs 7 weeks or older and cats 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animals. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Call poison control center if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water.
What are the side effects: Pets may experience some temporary
irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of application, consult a veterinarian immediately.

- This product is flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame.

- This product can cause eye injury. Flush eyes with plenty of water. Call a physician if irritation persists.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
How should I store this product: Store this product at room
temperature. Store in the original container only. To dispose wrap original container in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash. Keep out of the
reach of children.
